Big and busty, the Porn Star Martini, embrace her.

Why is the delicious blend of vodka and passion fruit, with a side of fizz call a Pornstar Martini, who cares, it tastes fantastic?  I look for it on all the cocktail menus and order one without hesitation, and encourage others to do the same. There is so much information out there I suppose I could look into it, but I’m too busy drinking it to care.


I  make these at home, but only when I have an open bottle of champagne to hand, this element is crucial, and it must be dry.  Like all recipes, there are many variations out there, but I feel pretty confident that this one is the original.

When I see passion fruit in the veggie shop I think Martini, not martine


  • 25ml Grey Goose Vodka
  • 25ml Passoa – a passion fruit liqueur
  • 2tsp vanilla sugar *
  • 25ml Passion fruit pulp
  • Splash of apple juice – pressed is best it gives volume and is optional
  • Shot of champagne

*split a vanilla pod lengthways and remove all the gooey seeds inside. Add the vanilla seeds, together with 500g of sugar in a blender and blend until well combined. Place sugar in an air tight jar.  I use it in baking too so usually have it in the cupboard.

Simply pour the first 5 ingredients over crushed ice in a shaker and shake until the outside of the cup is cold and frosty.  Pour into a chilled martini glass and serve with half a passion fruit garnish to float and a shot of dry champagne.  To drink, pour in the fizz for me, but as you please really there is no etiquette,  sip both, champagne first or as a chaser.


Try it, The Porn Star Martini is now quite the thing to have, but we have been lovers for years.  I love the seeds, but strain if you do not.

So the above is pretty specific and involves vanilla sugar. the below combo is a good alternative, you need the lime juice as I think the vanilla syrup makes it a little sweeter.  Thanks, thirsty  In desperate times I have used whatever brand vodka from my cupboard and some vanilla essence! Use puree when the fruit is not in season, (puree is fine but balance with the lime as it will make it sweeter again)

  • 1 1/2 fresh passion fruit

  • 2 oz vodka (vanilla-infused)

  • 1/2 oz passion fruit liqueur

  • 1/2 oz Monin Vanilla Syrup

  • 1/2 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice

  • 2 oz Brut Champagne Fill a Martini glass with crushed ice to chill and place to one side. Add the passion fruit pulp, vanilla syrup, passion fruit liqueur, and lime juice into a shaker and shake the cocktail. Empty your Martini glass and strain in the drink, then garnish with the passion fruit.IMG_8520.JPG

Serve with a shot glass of Brut Champagne.
