Day Four: Give ‘Em What They Want
The course continues. I had never seen myself in different formats, I use a desktop and so my big fat screen gives me lots of space. I happily wrap my text around pictures and play with quotation marks. Day three asked me to test my site and make sure it works on different formats. Whey hey, I had inadvertently chosen a responsive theme, so I fit everywhere. I’ll have a cup of tea then, and look at my words on my phone, who knew.
Day four asks me to look at the stats page of my site. I do not want to because that’s what started all this, no one likes me, remember. I sigh and do as I am told. Joy of joys, I was only looking at the one day and I had not actually written anything!! By scrolling, reading and taking time, I have learnt much. Mostly people like reading about my humiliations with the dog. I am going to LIKE more stuff on other peoples pages now because I understand how it all works, for me though, I can not control, nor do I want to, my random nature. I do not want to take too much notice of my traffic and clicks as it might make me write for them and not from my heart. No offence.
