SEO and my Blog. I have no idea
Last day of this process. I have read everything and clicked through a lot of blue windows. I now know that SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. I knew that when I asked Google he answered. I never, ever thought about how he found it. Like the kids, clothes are worn and dropped, then appear laundered and folded, it just happens!
I have really enjoyed this discovery. I now understand that I must choose some of my words with a solid thought process. For example, my post on cocktails had the title:
Big and busty, the Porn Star Martini, embrace her.
It might have been better to say Porn Star Martini Cocktail recipe, at least somewhere on the page, shamefully I did not.
So I will move forward with this in mind, there has been a slight shift in my thought process. I had not thought of my pages as something that would be visited by a spider. Initially, I had been writing for my close friends and family but if I want to grow, then every time I post I should ask myself the question. If I was looking for this content what would I tap into the search space? The answer should be incorporated somewhere in my blog.
I got the last email today saying it’s a wrap! Thanks, team, it has been great. I have learnt, considered and thought much in the last 10 days. My blog is beginning to feel like a pair of favourite jeans.
